Starair Aircraft Showcases Multiple Star Products at the 15th China Airshow

Zhuhai, China, November 12, 2024 – The 15th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (China Airshow) grandly opened at Jinwan Airport, attracting widespread attention from the global aviation industry. As a general aviation manufacturer that has participated in the exhibition for nine consecutive years, Starair Aircraft showcased its star products, the "Aurora" aircraft and the high-rise building firefighting tethered drone system, at the front square of Hall 13 at Jinwan Airport, the main venue. Simultaneously, the company displayed its self-developed SA40U fixed-wing drone at the second venue, Lianzhou Airport.

The "Aurora" series of aircraft is China's first fully autonomous light-sport aircraft to pass airworthiness certification and obtain certification from the US FAA and Australian CASA. With high-altitude takeoff and landing capabilities and autopilot functions, the aircraft has been delivered in excess of 300 units, making it the most popular light-sport aircraft in the Chinese market. At this airshow, multiple general aviation companies exhibited the "Aurora" aircraft, with four aircraft on display. Among them, two "Aurora" aircraft were delivered to customers at the exhibition site, and more than 30 "Aurora" aircraft were signed for on-site.

The high-rise building firefighting tethered drone system was developed under the support of the National Key Research and Development Program, led by Professor He Qinghua, the company's founder. It is designed to meet the urgent need for rapid response and three-dimensional fire extinguishing in high-rise building fires. The first-generation product has a continuous operation capability at an altitude of 150 meters, and the second-generation product will increase the operation altitude to 200 meters. The vehicle model has passed type inspection and obtained approval for announcement. On November 8, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the 388th batch of "Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products", and Starair Aircraft's SAT5260GXFAP50/150A fire truck was included, entering the mass sales stage. It is expected to play an important role in the field of high-rise building firefighting in the future.

During the airshow, Starair Aircraft will sign important cooperation agreements with several well-known domestic enterprises, covering multiple areas such as aircraft manufacturing, technology research and development, and market operation.
